Thats right ... this year we have a new idea for a group break, and timed to avoid a clash with the annual WPF Lampeter Convention. Off we go to Snowdonia for a trip with a bit of a difference for this will be a group trip in which people can opt in or out of any element they wish. FLEXIBILITY will be the keyword.
BASE CAMP: will be the village of Llanberis, at the foot of Mount Snowdon, and in easy walking distance of the start point of mountain railway, across the road from the National Slate Museum and the Electric Mountain Visitor Centre with an option to go through the full hydro electric underground tour. You choose where you stay:- bunkhouse, B&B, hotel, camping etc.
NEARBY: are the towns of Bangor, with its shopping centre, university and access to Anglesey via the Menai Bridge and Caernarfon with its castle, ancient town wall, harbour and start point for the 40 mile trip on the scenic steam railway.
