 SUNDAY 14 March 2010 @ 2:00pm

In the heart of the Cardiff city centre, in the Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre (by kind permission of the President and Council of Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales) we present an audience with professional wildlife photographer and winner of numerous awards:
 fighting tigers

Andy Rouse ~ Professional Wildlife PhotographersAndy Rouse

I always love taking the stage and speaking to large audiences, it really brings out the showman in me.

For this stage of my Greatest Hits tour I will pick my favourite moments from the many close encounters that I have had and try to bring it to life in words and pictures.

My musical pieces are always popular as I use recognizable rock and pop classics to accompany the images and for this show I will have new sequences written. I will also show my latest work from Australia, the Arctic and Rwanda too.

rearden smith theatreIn the magnificent surroundings of the Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre, the show will be inspirational, funny and educational.  It will be suitable for non photographers as well as keen snappers but unsuitable for small children or impressionable adults for whom parental guidance is advised.

Now living in Cardiff, Andy is presenting his talk around the UK and has joined forces with Cardiff Camera Club to present the only talk in his new native south Wales.  Tickets are certain to sell out fast so you will need to book yours soon.  Andy will also be selling signed copies of his latest book about tigers.

penguinsAndy turned professional in July 1999 after a successful career as an IT consultant. Since then he has appeared in his own TV series "Wildlife Photographer", made numerous other appearances on TV, won 7 BBC Awards in 5 years, 3 Nature’s Best awards and 3 European Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards.

bearsAndy's iconic images continue to sell worldwide and he has lectured far and wide to thousands of photographers and naturalists.

As a serious conservationist Rouse has started his own conservation fund in partnership with Paramo Directional Clothing Systems that makes donations from their own profits.  In partnership with the UN he has recently released the Generations limited edition print where 100% of the proceeds goes to gorilla conservation. In short he has packed a lot into 10 short years and the Greatest Hits tour aims to showcase the best images.

Tickets cost £12.50 each inclusive of booking fees and are EXCLUSIVELY available from this site.
